Typhoon Maysak (International name) was entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) April 1, 2015, named Typhoon Chedeng. With estimated rainfall amount from heavy to at times intense within the 150-200 km radius of the typhoon. Next 18 hours, PAGASA will raise Public Storm Signal #1 over Samar and Bicol Provinces. SEVERE PAGASA WEATHER BULLETIN as of 11:30pm, with the typhoon Chedeng with international name MAYSAK spotted 1,015 kilometers East Northweast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar or 1,040 km East of borongan, Eastern Samar (11.9°N, 135.0°E). Strength maximum sustained winds of 180kph near at the center of the typhoon and gustiness of up to 215kph. The typhoon is moving West Northwest a 19kph, and it is estimated to landfall at eastern cost of Aurora, Quezon or Isabela by Saturday April 4, 2015 to Sunday April 5, 2015. – DOT PAGASA

To those areas that will be affected of this typhoon, be prepared. You must know where to go incase you need to evacuate. If you have plans for this Holy Week, make sure that you are updated of the typhoon forecast and be ready for anything like flashfloods, landslide, particular in lower area and storm surges especially in coast area of Eastern Samar.
Government officials already alerted the public for the entry of Typhoon Chedeng with international name “Maysak,” and they advice to the people who will be affected of the typhoon to get ready incase of emergency evacuation.
