Typhoon Yolanda Entered Philippine Area of Responsibility Threatened provinces in Eastern Visayas


Thursday morning at 1 a.m., the "Typhoon Yolanda" entered in the Philippine Area of Responsibility and threatened many provinces in Eastern Visayas.


At 8 a.m. today November 7 the Typhoon was located at 712 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur with the maximum sustained winds of 215 kph near the center, the Typhoon was gained strength as it enter in Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PNOY said zero casualty for typhoon Yolanda, the government warns the people especially in low-lying area to evacuate to avoid human casualties. 

Even if the government is ready for this public storm, we cannot ensure that no casualties will be recorded as the typhoon will land fall estimated on Friday. On the forecast, this is the strongest storm to hit the Philippines this year.
