Dolphy Died at ages of 84 - Thank you Comedy King DOLPHY


Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. was born on July 25, 1928 known by his screen name Dolphy, was the country’s "King of Comedy" Dolphy. He was widely regarded as the Philippines' "King of Comedy" for his comedic talent embodied by his long roster of works on stage, radio, television and movies.

Dolphy's partner "Zsazsa" and some of his 18 children were with him when he died at 8:34 Tuesday night at the Makati Medical Center. He portrayed many types of characters in his films, but perhaps some of the roles the Comedy King is more known for are his portrayals of homosexual men, and his last movie was MMFF 2010 entry "Father Jejemon movie".

It seems boundless tributes to the legacy of laughter,There are a many of posts, tweets, and status updates on social network sites; tribute pages on news sites; and features on TV,R adio about Dolphy's achievements as a comedian, showbiz celebrity, colleague and artist.

President Benigno Aquino led the nation in paying tribute to Dolphy, calling him the embodiment of the "humble, honest, and helpful" Filipino, who made life easier for his friends and followers in the face of daunting challenges.
